Are You Sure Your Code Is Secure?

One of the most critical problems I have seen in my time in the Oil and Gas industry is client side code being unsecured. In order to ensure that your equipment and controls meet operational standards and to keep yourself clear from unjustified Non-Payable Time (NPT) companies must ensure that their systems and software remain in tact and as they intend to be deployed. Control system to control system I have seen technicians in the field adjust critical formulas, settings, configuration files, and source code itself to attempt to fix or improve upon a situation.

These instances lead to NPT, support phone calls, and management getting involved. Being able to lock down your controls is an absolute necessity. I have created a solution that allows the contols to be locked down and remain secure so that a curious technician or a bad actor cannot alter your deployed configuration.
